You Need A Go-Bag!

What is a go-bag?

The simplest definition of a go-bag is something to grab in an emergency that has all the essential items you may need for a short period of time. That’s mediciation, batteries, charging cables, battery pack, sun an perscription glasses and etc.

However, I’ve found this to be great for every day. I grab my go-bag for most outings. Whether going to the park or a camping trip, having a back up of everything you may need is very comforting. And especially when going without your vehicle (which should also have meds and backup stuff you need).

What to add to your go-bag

Batteries are necessary

Amazon has some awesome deals on batteries. I recommend getting more than you need, just in case…

AAA

Flashlights Are Awesome

Having flashlights everywhere is a great idea. I have a dozen cheaper flashlights scattered around the house and a couple nice ones for go-bag and carry.

For around the house/cars

EverBrite 9-LED Flashlight 6-pack Impact Handheld Torch Assorted Colors with Lanyard 3AAA Battery Included (Hurricane Supplies, Camping, Hiking, Emergency, Hunting)

OR
FASTPRO 20-pack Aluminum 6-LED Flashlights Set with Lanyard and 60-piece AAA Batteries Included and Pre-installed

and I carry one of these at all times. Seems odd, but you’ll never know how much you need a flashlight until you carry one. this has 4 different intensities and I use it at least once a day.

Zipper Bags for your Go-Bag, Home or School

I like to separate my items in my go-bag for ease of use. Grab a set of these zipper bags and label them with the contents. I have one for batteries, one for charging cables, one for flashlights and etc.
Take a marker and label each with contents.
